PYRE is a small-batch ceramic studio based in the Central Coast of California. Artist and educator Marie Bose specializes in one of a kind handmade high-fire tableware, lighting design and sculpture.

Marie’s work is an exploration on cultivating and celebrating ritual of the everyday. She has been working with clay for over a decade along the California coast, where the quiet, raw grace of the landscape animates her pieces. Her years spent as both a farmer and a cook inform the simple, elegant forms she crafts in her home and kitchen wares. She weaves a tactile invitation to enjoy the elegance of slowing down and deepen relationship to beauty within these everyday objects.
